The first phase of bank note printing has recently been implemented in Manila.
The printing machines have been provided by a renowned Asian manufacturer.

When to environmental technology is needed, trust has been placed in Austrian solutions.

The stick printing concept, which is usually used for production of bank notes, provides high forgery of the bank notes, but as a result a mixture of water, cleansers, printing color and much more chemicals arises in large quantities (the so called wiping solution).

Where once the solutions used were neutralized and disposed of at significant cost, the new technology ensures the recovery of materials used and environmentally-friendly recycling of solutions.

Wiping solution treatment through ultrafiltration

The Austrian manufacturer Seiler has been producing marketable solutions for ultrafiltration together with Rudolf Berthold GmbH since 1996.

This process allows up to 99% of the wiping plant to be reused which, in addition to significant cost reductions, also leads to considerable improvements of the environmental friendliness of the cleaning plant.

A successful partnership from the outset: Seiler Anlagenbau supplies the production technology and Rudolf Berthold Ges.m.b.H. provides the required control technology.

The entire control system for the wiping plant for the bank note printing plant in Manila was also planned and implemented by Rudolf Berthold Ges.m.b.H:
