The high-tech company BERTHOLD is expanding its headquarters in Pottendorf and creating more space and the best infrastructure for the successful & growing team of specialists.

BERTHOLD has been based in Pottendorf / Lower Austria since 1991. In addition to the building erected at the beginning, substantial investments were made in 2005 and a new building was created as a modern location with two additional halls and storage areas.

Now BERTHOLD needs more space for personnel expansion, as GF Joachim Berthold, MAS emphasizes: “Due to the extremely good order situation, the BERTHOLD team has grown by a good third in the past two years.” And adds: “We want to continue growing healthily, in order to be able to offer our customers the best possible solutions in a timely manner. A further expansion of the team is therefore not ruled out. “

The plan is to smoothly integrate the currently unused old building into the existing new building and to extend it to a second floor.

This creates a continuous building with a uniform overall appearance.

State-of-the-art office space …

Part of the newly created space is used as office space:
Additional, spacious workplaces with state-of-the-art equipment as well as another meeting room with an interactive whiteboard and the corresponding technology for online meetings in the team form the largest usable area.

A separate “silent room” is available to all employees as a place of retreat for work that requires particularly high concentration.

A new entrance portal leads from the employee parking lot directly into the newly designed, barrier-free areas.

… and spaces for a healthy coexistence

Generous areas are provided for a good and healthy coexistence:
Completely new social rooms with adjoining canteen, which are also intended to serve as a place to celebrate together, were a central theme in the planning from the start. A large outdoor terrace complements this important relaxation area.

A fitness room with state-of-the-art equipment and appropriate cloakrooms is available to all employees free of charge, as is the separate area with an infrared cabin.

More climate-friendly work

The desire for a clearer contribution to more climate friendliness was also included in the planning:
In addition to a photovoltaic system, investments are also being made in extensive thermal renovation with facade renewal. Two charging stations take the changing mobility concept into account. A conscious decision is also to hire craftsmen from the region.

Undisturbed operation despite construction work

No restrictions are to be expected for BERTHOLD customers during the renovation work:
“All projects, further developments and maintenance work are carried out as planned, and full support is 100% guaranteed.”

The completion of the construction work is planned for the 1st quarter of 2022.
