The incinerators in Vienna have no problem dealing with the largest amounts of refuse in Austria. In terms of technology, all of the plants are well equipped, and in one aspect, they are now technological forerunners in their field: since November 2014, the entire transport logistics systems of all incinerators have been operated using a completely new logistics control system called BLS.

The Lippe Plant in Lünen, Germany is the headquarters of REMONDIS AG & Co. and, on a site covering 230 hectares, is Europe’s largest centre for industrial environmental services. High-quality raw materials and products are manufactured in the industrial park and many different waste management services are used.

Rudolf Berthold Ges.m.b.H not only supplies cost-efficient logistic control systems but also highly-efficient control and automation solutions.
The areas of application are immensely diverse, as can be seen through Wintertechnik GmbH – an Austrian provider of snow-producing systems – yet another satisfied customer of a realized project.

EVN Wärme GmbH operates 44 biomass district heating plants. The plants in Mödling and Baden have been successfully using the Rudolf Berthold Ges.m.b.H VAS-II logistics control systems for years. From now on, the all of the smaller district heating plants will also be processed centrally – and things are going well.

Bioenergie Steyr GmbH operates a biomass district heating power station with a thermal output of 15 to 20 MW and an electrical output of 5MW, thus providing 10,000 households with heating for 2012, both in the private, as well as in the business and industrial sectors. Rudolf Berthold Ges.m.b.H. was able to implement the entire logistics control system for the power plant in record time.

The sewage treatment plant of the Wr. Neustadt Süd association for sewage treatment is continuously being modernised, expanded and enlarged. Mechanical and biological purification, slurry treatment and biogas recovery are all up to date.

A while ago, Rudolf Berthold Ges.m.b.H delivered their modern shipping automation system VAS-II to a cement terminal in Banska Bistrica/Slovakia.
This shipping terminal has now been taken over by Duna-Dráva Cement , a 100% subsidiary of the German HeidelbergCement Group.
