New mud dewatering

2016/2017 is being worked on the optimization of the sludge dewatering: the centrifuges („decanters") used in the course of the sludge treatment are completely renewed. With a capacity of 15m³ / h per line, they are used for further dewatering and thickening of the sewage sludge, which is subsequently loaded into containers provided by means of a conveyor belt.

The centrifuges are from ACAT, known for optimum drainage technology and individual solutions. In close cooperation with ACAT and the wastewater association, Rudolf Berthold Ges.m.b.H plans and supplies the entire electrical engineering as well as the integration:

• Planning of control engineering
• Process control
• Integration of the sensors
• Visualization
• Distribution, wiring
• Electrical installation
• Commissioning

Through extensive tests in the house, Rudolf Berthold Ges.mb.H ensures the shortest possible conversion times on site as well as a quick commissioning of the new control technology.
