Two new projects in Germany consolidate the international market position of Berthold’s logistics control system BLS.

Berthold can look forward to two new and challenging projects:

“The MVA Bielefeld-Herford GmbH, as well as the Enertec Hameln GmbH – both companies belong fort he most part to the Interargem GmbH, which is part of the Municipal Services Bielefeld Group – trust in our team and in our solutions for the automation of delivery logistics.” Joachim Berthold, MAS, Managing Director of the Austrian Rudolf Berthold Ges.mbH, is pleased.

Reflections in Bielefeld began at the end of 2018

Municipal Services Bielefeld intended a company-wide conversion to Windows 10. Affected by this are also the two plant locations in Bielefeld and Hameln:

The systems used at both plant locations are not compatible with the new operating system. We were therefore looking for an economically viable solution at the cutting-edge, technical level for professionally automated handling of delivery logistics.

Competent advice brought on board

Many questions arose for the operators. In Berthold, Interargem GmbH has found a competent partner.

The technically experienced team of Berthold responded flexibly and brought enormous experience in the planning of yard management systems on the basis of numerous reference projects in the project.
Technical and economic details were clarified together on site and optimal solutions quickly formulated.

Decision for logistics control system BLS

In the middle of April 2019, the decision was made in favor of the logistics control system BLS by Rudolf Berthold Ges.m.b.H, with which all requirements are met economically and at a high technical level.

This was the starting signal for two projects in a tight temporal corset, because the implementation is to be completed by September 2019.

Two “turnkey” systems

The scope of supply covers hardware, software and services for each of the two projects and essentially includes the following items:

  • Self-service terminals
  • BLS software with modules
  • Integration of the on-site existing EDP central
  • Engineering & Setup

        Joachim Berthold congratulates his team

Managing director Joachim Berthold is proud of the dedication of his team and congratulates:

“Above all, two things have spoken for us. We were able to transfer our experience and expertise to the projects right from the start. For problems, we either had solutions that we could prove with the help of reference projects, or at least concrete suggestions and realistic ideas for their implementation. “

And he adds: “And our commitment: We are always available, also for discussions at short notice. We have created our offer as quickly as possible. In addition, of course, our system and the technology have convinced, as we can easily map all requirements with the modular and comprehensive BLS logistics control system. As a result, customers always felt well looked after, well advised and given security. Finally, in this case, our contact persons had to trust us to equip two plants “turnkey” in 4-5 months. “

        Enertec Hameln GmbH
Enertec Hameln GmbH operates a waste incineration plant in Hameln’s Afferde district with a treatment capacity of approximately 350.000 tonnes of waste per year.
