RENERGIA: Logistics control system for a Swiss showcase project
The eight waste disposal associations in Central Switzerland as well as the Perlen Papier AG jointly founded the “Renergia Zentralschweiz AG” in 2012 and set up the new waste incineration plant in Central Switzerland. 200,000 tons of waste / year are thermally recycled using the latest technology.
At the beginning of 2015 the new waste incineration plant went into operation – and with it the innovative logistics control system BLS.
A total of 155,000 MWh of electricity for 38,000 households, as well as district heating and – for the nearby paper mill – process steam are generated with this system.
BERTHOLD delivered the first BLS system to Switzerland and is responsible for the registration, processing, recording and invoicing of all deliveries and dispatches for this power plant.
With BLS, regular operations for Renergia Zentralschweiz AG are sustainable and economical.

Project “BLS for RENERGIA” with BERTHOLD internal ISO 2008 support
This project was also accompanied by an internal quality team in order to continuously improve efficiency at BERTHOLD. The main aim of this measure is the ongoing optimization of internal project processes and the interfaces to future users. This measure has a positive impact on the entire process. This results in noticeable advantages for our customers:
