Berthold in-house seminar of the VOEB

On January 30, 2018, Rudolf Berthold Ges.m.b.H welcomed numerous guests to the Pottendorf plant: The Association of Austrian Waste Management Companies (VOEB) had invited to the one-day seminar and the Berthold Training Center was filling up quickly.

DI (FH) Michael Jirgal / VOEB explained to the interested visitors important topics around electronic records and messages in the waste management.

Organizers and participants were very satisfied after this first in-house seminar, a continuation of this format is also considered by Rudolf Berthold Ges.m.b.H.

Conversion to ISO 9001: 2015

A good order situation is no reason for Berthold to rest on laurels. We ensure our goal of 100% customer satisfaction through ongoing, great efforts in quality management.

We will use the year 2018 to complete the transition from ISO 9001: 2008 to ISO 9001: 2015. For this extensive revision – our QM system applies to all projects, in all phases of the service and at all workplaces – we will call in an external partner.
With this external view, we expect new perspectives and inputs for our QM system.

Further expansion of the IT infrastructure

For Rudolf Berthold Ges.m.b.H, the ongoing expansion of its own IT infrastructure is not only a constant effort to provide state-of-the-art equipment, but also an obligation towards our maintenance customers and also serves to fulfil the DSGVO (General Data Protection Regulation).

Already in 2017, we made important investments by replacing the servers and switches, installing a latest-generation firewall and integrating a SAN system (storage area network).

In 2018, we will continue to focus on increasing security measures, and planning to replace the UPS system is already running in high gear.
We understand by quality that "best efficiency" or "highest possible reliability" must be experienced by our customers: in our products and through our services such as maintenance and service.
