The associations VOEB (Association of Austrian Disposal Companies) and ÖWAV (Austrian Water and Waste Management Association) offer industry companies excellent information and networking platforms. BERTHOLD is right in the middle.

Waste management conference 2022 of the ÖWAV

On May 3rd to 5th, 2022, the most important companies from the industry met in the Wels exhibition center to discuss the status and future of waste management.

CIRCULAR ECONOMY ANTE PORTAS, the main theme of the Waste Management Conference 2022, was in the light of the forthcoming implementation of the EU Circular Economy Package and its guidelines.

Numerous interesting lectures on the current technologies, collection and recycling measures with which the ambitious goals of the EU are to be achieved formed the framework of this well-organized meeting.

Anniversary General Assembly & Annual Conference 2022 of the VOEB

The VEOB has been an independent advocacy group for 40 years.

This anniversary was celebrated on the occasion of the general assembly & annual conference from June 23rd to 25th, 2022 at Burg Schlaining/Burgenland.

Representatives from politics and business recognized the merits and efforts of the association, but current topics such as security of supply, electricity market design and 100% renewable energy were also on the agenda.

Also this year, numerous young industry representatives use the offer of the YOUNG VOEB team, which offered great networking opportunities as part of a Generations Cup.
