On our 25-year celebration we proudly looked back on our achievements and presented with joy the successful launch of our new Lead Systems BLS. With the next step we are now securing the future of our company by setting the course for the leadership of Rudolf Berthold Ges.m.b.H.
25 exciting years
The working life of CEO Rudolf Berthold in his role as technician and managers was full of innovations. At the beginning, he developed various industrial projects for the Vienna University of Technology (since 1976) and later for the Philips company. In 1989 he started his own business and founded the Rudolf Berthold Ges.m.b.H.
He always attached importance to partnering and to implementing the highest quality standards. With projects in the process automation, the development of shipping automation systems (VAS) and with VAS-II and its modular expandability for all logistics processes, Rudolf Berthold set milestones.
The company’s founders built the company on at great personal commitment and lead it to success in more than 25 years. His interest in securing this impressive lifework is therefore quite understandable.
The new generation
His son, Joachim Berthold, MAS, has been working successfully in the Rudolf Berthold Ges.m.b.H for several years. He has a technical and commercial education and already gained extensive experience in the company in the course of various projects and works. He is therefore very familiar with the matter.
With immediate effect Joachim Berthold leads the further fate of Rudolf Berthold Ges.m.b.H. as managing director.
The experience remains within the company
In the future the company founder will focus on the quality improvement and quality assurance as an authorized signatory and technical director. He will also place his attention on strategic tasks to improve efficiency in project management and in processing. The experience of Rudolf Berthold in the future thus remains preserved for the company.
The finance department is managed by authorized signatory Maria Medved. She had already been involved in all decisions, could assist the handover process optimally and also remains as CFO a mainstay of management that now consists of three persons.
The joint decision for the future
This decision at the executive level was harmonious and taken in accord with our slogan "The right step into the right direction". It gives the company a significant impulse for the future and secures the many good partnerships.
We thank all our partners for their loyalty and good cooperation in the past 25 years. We hope to continue to be able to implement many joint projects.
